There’s something so magical about the start of a new year—a fresh energy, a blank slate, and an invitation to step into our lives with more clarity, presence, and intention. I love using this time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with myself, my goals, and my spiritual practices.


Over the years, I’ve discovered certain tools and resources that consistently help me raise my vibration, stay grounded, and align with the energy I want to carry into the year. I’m excited to share some of my personal favorites with you—practices I return to again and again, whether I’m looking to calm my mind, connect with spirit, or recharge my energy.




1. LISTEN: Insight Timer (Free App)

There’s something powerful about carving out a few intentional minutes to simply breathe, rest, or listen. Insight Timer is a treasure trove for anyone seeking a higher-vibe start to their day—or a gentle landing at night. Beyond guided meditations, this free app offers breathwork practices, yoga nidra sessions for deep relaxation, and even bedtime stories for those restless nights when sleep feels elusive.


I often use Insight Timer when I feel scattered or overwhelmed—it brings me back to my body, my breath, and the present moment. Over time, these small pauses accumulate into a greater sense of calm, clarity, and alignment with the energy I want to carry through the year.





2. READ: The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein


“Trust, surrender, and allow the universe to guide you.”


Books can be portals to transformation, and Gabrielle Bernstein’s The Universe Has Your Back is one that never fails to shift my perspective. I first read it in 2020 during the early stages of my spiritual awakening, and it continues to be a touchstone for grounding myself in faith over fear.


Bernstein gently teaches you how to trust the universe, let go of control, and tap into a higher vibration even in challenging times. I return to it whenever I need a reminder that I am supported, loved, and guided, and that my energy matters in shaping the life I want.
